Investments are an important to any company and to any country in the world. But the most important type of investment is usually the foreign investment. This is because foreign investments mean better foreign relations and it brings more and more people to their country, which has its good and bad points. Foreign investments create jobs and the bigger the investment the greater the revenue may be.
Two main investments have been made to China recently; one of them is from the Kraft Company. This company is based in the United States and they want to increase the investment they have in China in the next ten years. So far Kraft Company has invested over 200 million U.S dollars into China and they are currently under construction to build a biscuit factory in Beijing, which should be up and running very soon. That factory will turn out Kraft biscuit type foods as Oreos and Ritz Crackers.
The Dow Corporation is another big investor; they have signed a letter of investment intent that will bring product manufacturing of Specialty Chemicals, Latex and Styrofoam insulations to the country. The plants in China are expected to begin the production in 2008. Foreign investments are great for both countries; they provide revenue for both countries.
